A single ticket costs 270 HUF.
You have to validate the ticket before you get on the metro.
You need to validate a new ticket when you change the line. There are section tickets that allows you to change the line, but they are only valid for 3 stops.

How to get to Astoria City Hostel from:

- Keleti: Take M2 (red line) metro from the train station to ASTORIA stop. Take the Rákóczi út exit from the underpass find Rákóczi út no. 4 and ring doorbell no. 27.

- Nyugati: Take M3 (blue line) metro from the train station to Deák Ferenc tér. From there you have two choices. The first is to get to the surface and walk to Astoria sq., the second is to change to the M2 (red line) metro and take it to the next stop to Astoria.

- Déli: Take M2 (red line) metro to Astoria stop. Take the Rákóczi út exit from the underpass find Rákóczi út no. 4 and ring doorbell no. 27.Népliget:Take M3 (blue line) metro from the bus station to Deák Ferenc tér. From there you have two choices. - Airport: You can take the Airport Minibus, that is cheaper than a taxi. Do not take the Tourist Taxi co.’s cars, they are very expensive.If you want to go by public transportation you need to buy 3 tickets first. Take the airport bus to the last stop (Köbánya-Kispest), there take M3 (blue line) metro from the bus station to Deák Ferenc tér. From there you have two choices. The first is to get to the surface and walk to Astoria sq., the second is to change to the M2 (red line) metro and take it to the next stop to Astoria.

Nepliget: Take metro M3 /blue line/ to Ferenciek tere. Take off there and walk to astoria square /2min/.
